Alexander Mollan has a three-pronged practice. He focuses primarily on technology and digitisation, advising start-ups to listed companies on opportunities and issues pertaining to commercial IT contracts, cyber security, licensing, cloud services and tender preparation and negotiations in connection with major IT projects.
Alexander also assists with issues concerning corporate law and transactions, particularly transactions for tech companies.
Within the sphere of regulatory work and compliance, Alexander advises clients on privacy, information security, ESG/CSR, and regulatory issues pertaining to the gambling industry. He is also knowledgeable about EU/EEA law and competition law.
Alexander has previously been seconded to one of the world’s leading IT companies, where he assisted with the preparation of tender documents, negotiations, drafting, reviewing and revising IT contracts, and other matters regarding public procurement and privacy. He participated in the development of the Norwegian Digitalisation Agency’s standard agreement for cloud services (SSA-Sky). Alexander also holds the prestigious CIPP/E certification and has acted as a data protection officer for one of Norway’s fastest growing technology companies.
