Stein E. Hove

Stein E. Hove is a specialist in dispute resolution and mediation, as well as commercial contracts. He has litigated a large number of civil cases before Norwegian courts of law, including several before the Supreme Court of Norway. Most of these cases have involved contracts and monetary claims in the areas of ICT or real estate, limited liability companies and other business matters. Stein often assists in stock transactions and offers commercial legal advice.
Stein has considerable management experience and was a Managing Partner at Brækhus from 2001 to 2018. He also has a vast experience as a chairperson and board member in various industries.
Stein has regularly been ranked by Finansavisen’s annual lawyer survey as one of Norway’s 10 best lawyers in areas of dispute resolution, technology and digitalisation. He has also been recommended by Legal 500 in the categories TMT, Commercial, Corporate and M&A.
