Torbjørn Stokke

Torbjørn Stokke has over 20 years of experience in international private tax services. He was formerly a partner in PwC's Global Mobility department, responsible for their Global Mobility operations. Torbjørn began his career at the Norwegian Tax Administration and therefore has solid expertise in the field of taxation.
Torbjørn has extensive knowledge of most legal areas related to cross-border mobility for both companies and individuals. He has, for instance, contributed as a co-author on Arbeidsrett.no and has a holostic approach to advising on international mobility.
Torbjørn has worked with many of the largest companies both in Norway and internationally. He served as the globally responsible partner for Norsk Hydro, as well as other major clients in traditional industry, IT, and retail.
As part of Brækhus' Family Office team, Torbjørn and the team assist individuals and families seeking to ensure optimal taxation of their wealth and income, as well as families looking to preserve and transfer wealth between generations in an efficient and tax-favorable manner, often across borders.
In addition to being a sought-after speaker, Torbjørn actively participates in tax debates. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
